About Our Speech and Hearing Specialists
High Level Speech & Hearing Center evaluates, identifies, and treats speech and hearing concerns in children and adults. In addition to in-office therapy and assessments, we also provide at-school hearing screenings. We have been rated #1 for Mobile Screening Services. Above all, we strive for a compassionate, patient-centric environment, providing comprehensive speech and hearing services to our Greater New Orleans community.

Meet Our Audiologist Founder and CEO
High Level Speech & Hearing Center was founded in 2016 by Audiologist Dr. Lana Joseph. Dr. Joseph's passion for speech and hearing stemmed from years of being bullied due to her own speech impediment as a young girl. Since 2016, Dr. Joseph and her team—14 doctors and speech therapists, and 13 support staff members—have provided speech and hearing services to over 20,000 individuals within the Greater New Orleans area. High Level has been recognized locally and nationally as a top leader in speech therapy, hearing aids, dizziness, and mobile screening services, including being named Business of the Year by the Jefferson Economic Development Commission and Best Speech Language Pathologist by Expertise.com. Our speech therapists also received recognition as the top speech therapists in New Orleans. Dr. Joseph herself has been featured in Forbes, Gambit 40 under 40, Newtral Groundz, and Biz Magazine.
Meet Our Speech and Hearing Providers
At High Level, we don't feel like your typical speech and hearing center—we're your healthcare family. Our team of providers is one of the largest in Louisiana, consisting of two Doctors of Audiology, including Dr. Joseph, and 12 speech therapists. Our skilled doctors have earned the four-year clinical Doctorate of Audiology degree and specialize in hearing tests, hearing aids, tinnitus, auditory rehabilitation therapy, and vestibular and balance assessments. Our speech therapists have earned Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and are well trained on strategies that work for children and adults. Our professionals are licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners on Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and hold clinical competency certifications through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

At High Level, we believe our profession changes lives. This is why our mission is to bring new leaders into the field! According to statistics, nearly 1 in 12 children ages 3–17 has experienced a disorder related to voice, speech, language, or swallowing in the past 12 months. However, there is a serious shortage of speech and hearing professionals to treat and care for the growing number of people suffering from communication disorders. For this reason, High Level has teamed up with several universities to provide teaching and training opportunities for Clinical Fellowship Year Speech-Language Pathologists and Resident Fourth Year Audiologists.
