Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Nia Potier is a native of Marrero, Louisiana.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.  She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license with hearing aid dispensing from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.  Dr. Potier is passionate about the field of audiology and has served as an advocate for the profession in several capacities.  She specializes in hearing evaluations and hearing aids for pediatric and adult patients.   Most importantly, she is a wife and mother of two handsome boys, Jordan and Jett.

Dr. Melanique LaBeaud is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received a doctoral degree in clinical audiology. Dr. LaBeaud graduated at the top of her class serving as an active member of the American Academy of Audiology and President of the local chapter of the National Speech Language and Hearing Association. Dr. LaBeaud completed her residency at Georgia Hearing Institute in Macon Georgia, and served as a Clinical Audiologist specializing in hearing aids at Ochsner Health System in New Olreans, Louisiana. Dr. LaBeaud prides herself on her outstanding organizational and leadership skills, compassion for her patients, and passion for excellence in hearing services.


Dr. LaBeaud is licensed to practice audiology and hearing aid dispensing in Louisiana. She is certified in Audiology by the American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).



Melanique LaBeaud, Au.D, CCC-A

Dr. Lana Joseph received her Bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana and her Master's degree in Health Care Management from the University of New Orleans. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose program is ranked third in the nation in Audiology. In addition, Dr. Joseph has previous training and experience in management and patient care. She has served as a health care management consultant for a local clinic and worked closely with the Region 1 Director at the Louisiana Office of Public Health in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has also served as a consultant to audiologists throughout the country. She has  over 7 years of clinical audiology training at several major hospitals, clinics, and private practice facilities in Houston, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, Saint Louis, Missouri, and Atlanta, Georgia.


As a young girl who suffered with hearing difficulties and was bullied because of her speech impediment, Joseph used her intellect, resilience to navigate childhood and one day help others like herself. As Founder & CEO of High Level Speech and Hearing Center, she does just that by offering early intervention strategies for individuals with communication disorders so that they can enjoy better lives. Dr. Joseph is building a legacy not just for herself and her family, but for the New Orleans community as well. Dr. Joseph has made guest appearances on WWL TV, FOX 8, WHIV Radio, and the Oliver Thomas morning show and has published several articles in various blogs and audiology magazines including Audiology Practices and Hearing Health and Technology Matters. She was a finalist for the 2018 Millennial Award in Health Care , featured in Biz New Orleans Magazine, and the Women Who Launch edition of the St. Charles Avenue Magazine. Dr. Joseph has a great attitude, caring personality and a niche for building trust with patients and long lasting relationships with health care professionals. Read more about Dr. Joseph and High Level Hearing here
